Upcoming Practice Groups

(Eastern Standard Time)

Every week we will have one group practice scheduled by us that happens on Zoom. If you haven’t downloaded Zoom, please visit https://zoom.us/.
These group practices are in ASL ONLY for all levels, there is absolutely no voicing allowed. Attendance is encouraged and participation is not required. The only time we will call on you during group practice is during introductions to tell us:

  • your name

  • where you’re from

  • Deaf, HoH, or hearing

We will send out emails weekly to remind you about group practice and provide you with the Zoom invite for the session. We will also post in the Discord Server 10-minutes before start time for any last-minute stragglers.

Weekly conversational group practice on Zoom for all levels.

If you haven't yet joined a group practice, please think about joining this one!

It is recommended that you join Zoom by computer as opposed to a cellular device. On the computer you'll be able to see everyone whereas the phone limits how many you can see. If you have not used Zoom before, please see this tutorial video beforehand so you are ready.

We strive for these practices to be inclusive to all levels of signers. Do not worry about participating, the only expected participation is at the beginning when I ask you to introduce yourself. Aside from that, it's totally fine to join and just sit back and watch how conversational ASL is used.

See you soon!

Students only: In order to maintain the safety and privacy of attendees, this practice group is solely for students of ASL Spring. If you are interested in joining this discussion, become a student of our ASL Practice tier or higher.
